Amazon.com ReviewA charming gift for expectant parents, Oh Baby, the Places You'll Go is designed to be an in utero introduction to the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss. Adapted from his works, and touching on them all from Horton to Who-ville, author Tish Rabe has maintained Seuss's style perfectly. Your baby is the unnamed star of the book, and reading directly to your tummy becomes easy with lines like "the words I am saying you hear in your heart, and know that I wish you the very best start." Filled with the good doctor's whimsical illustrations, you'll find all your favorite characters, with a short rhyme that mentions each one--and just enough direct quotations to get those infants stimulated when you read Seuss's whole books to them at a later date. --Jill Lightner
REVIEW
Not by Seuss, nice prose, VERY SMALL While not written by Seuss, the prose is jaunty and fun. However, the book is TINY! It's definitely a "gift book" size and not something you'll be able to pick up and read to your vision-impaired newborn. I'll buy Cat in the Hat next time.
Shapes invites babies and young children to identify different shapes in bold, graphic illustrations featuring the Baby Einstein characters. Playful poems will inspire children to seek out shapes in the world around them.

A must-have in a semi-toddler's book-shelve I bought this book to give as a gift to my friend's 2 year old daughter. I found it very good for a learning toddler, bright colourpictures with hidden shapes are good to spike up the interest for reading. The size of the book is right for them to hold and read, also the pages are hard to tear. I decided to buy this book for my daughter when she becomes a toddler.
YES! This must-have toddler title sheds light on some concepts with a comical flair that will make readers HAPPY.
A towering ice-cream cone makes Baby HAPPY. But when that delectable treat goes splat, it makes Baby SAD. And how quickly HAPPY turns to SAD when a favorite red balloon flies away! Even the littlest listeners will relate to this playful look at a pair of emotions that are part of every baby’s day.

Another great book by Leslie Patricelli My two-year-old loves this book along with all the other books by this author. She chooses it for her bedtime book almost every night. At first I needed to explain why the baby was happy or sad, but now my daughter does that part.

REVIEW
Poor reception, static, and crackling I purchased the SVAT GX5201 after reading the favorable reviews. I returned it 2 days after I received it. The reception was horrible - even when I was in the same room as the camera, the reception was poor. The sound, and automatic audible alarm were even worse. To get the audible alarm to work, we had to manually touch the video camera to get the microphone to pick it up. There is a single pencil-tip thin hole on the bottom of the camera ball which is the microphone.
I turned off all of our cell phones, cordless phones, and internet (per the Tech Support's request), and the reception was still poor. Who actually lives in a house without cordless phones or wireless internet, anyway?
Don't be fooled by the favorable reviews - I think in the case of this product, they are "planted" reviews.

REVIEW
Boring This book is very basic, like a summary of all the tips. Which, if you are buying this book you are probably somewhat up on organic and this book will teach you nothing. I really wouldn't call it a book, it's more like "notes" on how-to be organic, but not "why" to be organic. Not enough info here for me!

REVIEW
A Little Bit of Everything This book covers a lot of info that you will be interested in during your baby's first year. It's laid out very user friendly and touches on almost everything and inclues lots of anecdotes from new mothers.
My only problem with it is that it doesn't go into as much detail as I would like. If I am looking to find info about diaper changing girls rather than boys I want them to spell out every little step and what I should be considering.
I would recommend this book as a supplement to your baby book library not the only one you need.

BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, TIMELESS, MUST GET I LOVED this book and can't say enough good things about it. I loved filling it out and putting all my little keepsakes in it. Now that my baby is a year old I love looking back on it and remembering that special time that he was inside of me.
I've bought this book for all of my pregnant friends and they've all gotten as much joy out of it as I have.
The prompts are wonderful, the quotes are great.
My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough space for journaling!!!

REVIEW
Not as good as I thought As being a "green" mom I was very disappointed with this book. She says that cloth diapers "overwhelmed" her by having to wash them with a newborn. Umm maybe you should buy more so you don't have to wash them everyday. I cloth diaper and it's so easy for me, I throw them in the wash every other day and volia! fresh clean diapers. Then she goes on to say she used disposables, the "green" ones (Tushies) I don't think using any disposable is going "green" . The kicker is when her son got "too big for regular diapers but not yet potty trained" She used PULL UPS!That's the beauty of most one size cloth diapers they can go up to 35 pounds! This lady has no idea how to be "green". I reccomend "Raising Baby Green" By Alan Greene, a much better book!

REVIEW
Among the best options available If you are considering a video monitor for your kids rather than a simple-audio monitor, you should absolutely go video (whether you buy this model or something else).
Prior to buying this model, I owned a Mobi and would not recommend it. I did a fair amount of online research before buying this item and despite some flaws, I'm still a satisfied user.
Pro:
- It works. One room away, the picture is very very good. Gets worse farther away (no surprise)
- Great features & flexibility. Have always been able to find ways to hang or position the cameras so they can view the kids - not always impossible with other models
- Supports multiple cameras (great for covering several kids and/or multiple rooms)
Con:
- Audio has a lot of static, even when the picture is clear
- The power cord for the monitor plugs into the unit inside the battery compartment, so you can't leave batteries loaded. Dumb design
- One of the three channels (#2) knocks out the wifi in our house, so we can only use two cameras. Fortunately the unit operates on two other channels, so we can still use those cameras without interfering with the Wifi
- Cost of the base package plus extra cameras is too high
Additional camera allows for 2nd room/2-child monitoring
LED lights allow parents to see baby in a darkened nursery
Wall mounting security clips included
Wall mountable or table top
Adjustable camera provides best angel viewing
AC adapter inluded
Power on indicator
REVIEW
System was not what we desired First, let me say that my biggest complaint about this product probably could have been avoided with more research. We added this camera to the monitor system so that we can monitor two children. However, the system does not have a scan function (or any means of monitoring the two cameras simultaneously). As a result, it doesn't meet my needs.
Otherwise, the camera seems to be of good quality and is very easy to set-up and adjust. The picture clarity (even in a completely dark room) from the camera is pretty good especially for the size of the screen. The audio is also very clear.
So- overall, the camera serves its function, the monitor does not.
The camera feature has provided us with more "entertainment value" than I expected - our toddler is a acrobat in bed!
