REVIEW
Cuisinart DCC-1200 Black and Stainless Steel This coffee maker has been in service only since Christmas Day . . . I read all the reviews before buying this lifegiving piece of equipment. Is it supposed to have a light in the clock? Who cares? This sits in the kitchen where clocks much larger and easier to read abound. Can't figure how much water you're putting in? Fill your favorite coffee mug as many times as cups of coffee you will drink and pour each in the carafe. Add half a cup more water (read instructions!) and pour in the water holding tank. Plenty of room is available at the opening of the holding tank, just pour slowly and steadily and stand on a stool if you're extremely vertically challenged since the opening is on the back, RH corner. Before adding grounds the first time, read the directions, then adjust to taste during the next couple of uses.
Controls are simple and straightforward. I like having the grounds basket up top. It's almost impossible to knock over/out the carafe this way! The only thing funky about the carafe is the lid. It isn't attached on a hinge, but snaps in from front to back and snaps out with your thumb from back to front. It works just fine, but just different from the norm.
Oh yes, it does make a good cup of coffee!
Glad I bought (me) a new coffee pot for my wife for Christmas!

Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System The Keurig B60 is great...we love this thing. Only complaint - its pretty noisy when "getting ready" for the next cup of coffee.

Easy storage hang-up slot Works on all floors
REVIEW
Hoover S2220 Flair Bagless Vacuum So far I really like this little vacuum. It's great for use on my kitchen and hallway floors and basement steps. I just use it for touch ups and in my kitchen instead of a broom. I love the suction! I have an area rug in the kitchen as well as linoleum floors. Emptying the bag is a bit messy, but it's not all that bad. I just put it down in the garbage can and clean it out. After reading the reviews I don't stand it alone because I don't want to take the chance that it will fall and break. I bought extra filters for the sides so I would have them on hand when needed. I don't use it for cleaning the whole house because that's not what it is made for. It's so nice to be able to store it with my broom and mop and to have it handy so I don't always have to lug out the big vacuum. I haven't had any problems with it over-heating and shutting off, and the cord is plenty long.
Amazon.com essential videoGroundbreaking on several counts, not the least of which was an innovative use of animation and stereophonic sound, this ambitious Disney feature has lost nothing to time since its release in 1940. Classical music was interpreted by Disney animators, resulting in surreal fantasy and playful escapism. Leopold Stokowski and the Philadelphia Orchestra provided the music for eight segments by the composers Tchaikovsky, Moussorgsky, Stravinsky, Beethoven, Ponchielli, Bach, Dukas, and Schubert. Not all the sequences were created equally, but a few are simply glorious, such as "Night on Bald Mountain," "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," and "The Nutcracker Suite." The animation ranges from subtly delicate to fiercely bold. The screen bursts with color and action as creatures transmute and convention is thrust aside. The painstaking detail and saturated hues are unique to this film, unmatched even by more advanced technology. --Rochelle O'Gorman
REVIEW
Disney's Greatest Film I have to admit, I'm an avid listener of classical music. So it's a small wonder why Disney's Fantasia is one of my favorite films. Every music sequence is pure gold (except maybe the Pastoral sequence).
Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach = My second favorite sequence, it is a mixture of abstract colors & images, live action orchestral playing, and Stokowski's acclaimed orchestration of Bach's organ music.
Nutcracker Suite by Peter Illich Tchaikovsky = Although I'm not a fan of Tchaikovsky's ballet music, this one is very good and entertaining. The dancing of the fairies and flowers and mushrooms make for a heck of a good time for the whole family.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Paul Dukas = This is probably the most exciting rendition of Dukas's masterpiece I've ever heard (even though a few minutes of music has been cut out of it). Mickey the apprentice dreams of being a powerful sorcerer, so he dons the hat of his master, and lets loose his magic. But, of course, no one controls literally everything that is created . . .
Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring) by Igor Stravinsky = This is my 3rd favorite out of all of them for two reasons. One is that Stravinsky is one of my all-time favorite composers, and two, The Rite of Spring is one of my all-time favorite pieces. Too bad that a mere ten minutes has been cut in order to save time. Dinosaurs, volcanoes, and earthquakes do seem to fit Stravinsky's music a bit, that I can tell you.
Symphony No. 6 "Pastoral" by Ludwig van Beethoven = This is probably the weakest of all the sequences. It's too cartoony, too bombastic, too cheery, and to many minutes of music have been cut out sadly. The storm scene is a nice touch, though.
Dance of the Hours by Amilcare Ponchielli = Gorgeous and downright hilarious. If you don't think hippo and ostrich ballet dancers is funny, then something is wrong with you.
A Night on Bald Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky/Ave Maria by Franz Schubert = Ah yes. My No. 1 favorite out of all of them. This didn't scare me as a kid for some reason. Chernobog is as creepy as The Horned King from "The Black Cauldron", and the demonic and ghostly dancing was (and still is) way ahead of its time. The last five minutes is beautiful and ethereal = they don't make them like they used to.
Amazon.comRiverdance--The Show is a cultural phenomenon that defies criticism for the enthusiastic and leaves everyone else scratching their heads. The wonderfully talented cast, headed by the Riverdance Irish Dance Company, bewitchingly spins (and stomps) its Celtic folk choreography featuring numerous breathless solos by Michael Flatley (since departed) and Jean Butler. The mellifluous Riverdance Orchestra boasts Davy Spillane, who coaxes plaintive lamentations out of a peculiar instrument that resembles a bagpipe in a metal leg brace. For Enya fans, there is the sound-alike choral group Anuna, who casts a similarly New Age-style vocal spell. Also thrown into the mix are such disparate folk traditions as American gospel and Spanish flamenco. Though it's only 70 minutes long, Riverdance is repetitive by half. But judging from the ecstatic audience ovations and the continued foot-stomping during and after the curtain calls, too much is still not enough. --Richard Natale

Release on DVD PLEASE!! I remember the tape from when I was a little kid and i have always LOVED IT. I'M WAITING FOR IT TO COME OUT ON DVD!! I love this soo much and even though I am Puerto Rican, I still found an appreciation for this music and i absolutely LOVE the dancing. Come on AMAZON RELEASE IT ON DVD!
Great film, excellent for kids. I watched Moonwalker when I was a kid and loved it, I thought it was great then and I think it's great now in my 20s, you get way more violence watching Yu-Gi-Oh than with Moonwalker, plusyou get to see Michael at it's best era, with videos that are probably among the best in music video history, with Smooth Criminal being a true masterpiece. Hopefully we'll see it on DVD soon, and if you can get it for your kids, do so, if not, get it for yourself. I must say that it's not a very coherent movie, it's more like pieces of different things but it's not like you're getting it for the story line.
Leatherman packs the full-size Skeletool with the tools you're likely to use most often.
Introducing the Brand New Skeletool CX from Leatherman Get back to basics -- the very cool basics -- with Leatherman's Skeletool CX. Today's outdoor enthusiasts want to keep weight and volume to a minimum without sacrificing quality and true functionality, and that's what the Skeletool is all about. Many multitools have multiple options, but they're often heavier -- and they're loaded with more features than most people actually need on a regular basis. Conversely, pocket knives are light and streamlined, but they render themselves useless when the task calls for a more versatile tool. Enter the new Skeletool platform, offering minimal weight, compact size and endless capabilities.
Key User Features The Skeletool CX has a large knife blade that can be accessed while the tool is closed; to open it, just place your thumb in the thumbhole at the base of the blade and rotate it out until it's fully extended -- which will engage the safety lock. This locking mechanism is noted with a padlock symbol on the tool. To unlock the blade, press the locking mechanism towards the handle until the blade slides past the lock.
Equipped with a universal bit driver, the Skeletool offers real utility options like no other multitool. To change the tool bits, simply unfold the tool and remove the bit from the bit driver -- and pop it out. And replacing bits is just as easy. Just press a new one into position and you're good to go. There's even a spare bit located in the handle side opposite the knife blade. This tool includes the following bits: Phillips #1 and #2, screwdriver 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch.
In the plier jaws you'll find a hard-wire cutter and a regular wire cutter. The regular wire cutter is great for softer grades of wire, but the hard-wire cutter is excellent for heavier jobs -- like cutting and bending fishhooks.
Multitool Capabilities: The Skeletool keeps it simple -- and light, and compact, and easy to transport. Why waste time with pointless, heavy add-ons when all the basics are right at your fingertips? With its open hardware, skeletal design and hardy appearance, the Skeletool boasts a premium stainless steel blade, pliers, a universal bit driver, and a carabiner/bottle opener ... and that's it.
Included Bits: Phillips #1 and #2, Screwdriver 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch
Leatherman makes a full range of complementary accessories and add-ons for this and other Leatherman products.

From new belt sheaths to t-shirts and caps, genuine Leatherman accessories are durable, fun and show that you're a part of Leatherman World. With such a wide variety available, it's easy to find just the add-on that's right for you.
Warranty All Leatherman products are covered by a 25-year limited warranty. If within 25 years from the purchase date of your genuine Leatherman tool you find any defect in material or workmanship, you can count on the manufacturer to make it right with fast warranty service. To obtain warranty service, return your tool to Leatherman Tool Group. Depending on the tool defect, they will decide whether to repair your tool or replace it with a product of equal or greater value. No variations, upgrades or refunds are offered.
The Leatherman Tool Group and its History of Quality In 1975, Leatherman Tool Group founder Tim Leatherman was inspired by leaky pipes and a cranky car on a budget trip to Europe -- and thus the idea for his first pocket survival tool was conceived. Since then, Leatherman has become an internationally recognized company with hundreds of employees and a wide variety of durable, versatile, stylish products. Created with bold designs and truly rugged construction, Leatherman products are a perfect addition for tool kits, emergency sets, and glove compartments everywhere.
REVIEW
Everything I need packed into a tiny, yet sturdy and well built tool. Alright, so before I purchased this multi-tool, a lot of the reviews mentioned the carbon fiber being there for fashion and nothing else. I found that that is absolutely incorrect. The carbon fiber scale doesn't really minimize the weight, but it makes the grip much more comfortable when holding the carbon fiber side in the palm of you hand while doing some heavy duty plier gripping. They also mentioned that it was just trim, but in fact, there's a fat piece of carbon fiber being in the HAND SCALE! Say for instance how some knives have wooden scales (or what look like handles), but the main components are steel. They are just placed there for both the way tool or knife looks, but also the comfort and gripping.
Another complaint that I recently saw a video review about mentioned how the bit driver grinds into the palm of your hand, that's not much of a problem, even for my big hands, the mutli tool was made to hold the knife from the carbon fiber side! So, its actually quite comfortable in your hand.
I must admit though, the knife is smaller than I expected it to be in proportion with the tool, but alas, it's still a good size. The blade is really sharp and quality made, I'd say up in the league with Benchmade and Emerson. Although the carbon fiber serves no purpose while holding it in the knife function, the handle is still incredibly comfortable and stable to handle. The bit driver finally has a quick release locking mechanism which prevents play when the bits are in use. On my Charge XTi, it wasn't really practical to use for high torquing on my bikes Allen bolts. But the Skeletool CX is much stronger and can handle getting all your bike equipment securely screwed down. The bottle opener is amazing, I used to use a lighter to open a bottle of beer before I broke my arm, but for the time being, I'll have a nice bottle opener with me at all times.
Lastly, the whole plier mechanism. What a lot of reviewers mentioned the needle nose pliers having the ability to use them as tweezers is very true. This the first day of having my Skeletool, and my father already used it to remove a sliver in his finger. The needle nose is still slim enough (and better reinforced) to get into the tight areas where needle nose is applicable. The regular pliers seem just right, I haven't gotten a chance to use them yet, but they look like they'll be able to tackle most jobs you'd need them for. Then there's the wire cutters... Something no one has really mentioned in any review yet, and I have to say they work much better than on my Charge. I was able to cleanly cut and bend a paper clip with the hard wire cutter and cleanly cut a hollow q-tip with the soft wire cutter. The Charge always messed the cuts up >_>.
All in all, this is a great all around tool. It's for that minimal survivalist utilitarian in all of us. Its ultra light, it has only the tools that you'd actually use on a regular basis, and if you use your imagination it can fulfill many other applications. It's great for survival, every-day occurrences, a light tool for your bike (if your hubs and many other parts on your bike use Allen keys), and if it's the only knife you carry around for protection, it can still save your life in hand to hand combat. One more thing I'd like to address from a past review, someone was complaining that it's way too heavy for a hike or camping. This thing is barely noticeable and if anything, as I keep saying throughout this review, has the bear essentials.

REVIEW
Some Reservations I'm a Joss fan from way back, so I knew what to expect going in. Pure unadulterated genius. And largely, I was right. The jokes were dead on, the acting was perfect, and the music was excellent (Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day being somewhat upstaged by Neil Patrick Harris). Dr. Horrible is, all in all, a wonderful work by an exceptionally talented group. I have to admit that I'm disappointed in the ending, if only for its being totally predictably Joss-tastic (inevitably at this point the hordes of Whedonites will descend to explain the brilliance of this ending for me, which I clearly just totally Didn't Get,despite having sat through it in several of Joss's previous projects).
The DVD is great, although the Easter Eggs are infuriatingly obtuse. Commentary the musical is brilliant (very nearly as good as the original DHSAB songs), and some of the underused talent really gets to shine. Also, much of the music is so acerbic as to be borderline corrosive, which is wickedly fun to listen to. The Featurettes, which would otherwise be considered quite solid, are rendered forgettable by the presence of a hilarious spoken commentary. Finally, the ELE auditions are a great deal of fun. I also appreciated the subtitles, although I really wish they'd been made available for the special features as well.
All in all, the project is well worth owning, despite the fact that Joss seems to be a member of the impalement of the month club.
