Better Watch Out! I sent in a card for a preview issue and never recieved it. Since then I've been bombarded with with forceful Must Pay notices. They've now turned me over to a collection agency. I've not to this day subscribed.

This is the best country music magazine This has alwaysbeen the best country music magazine. Now ,with the demise of it's American competitors,it is the only one. It features quality music reviews and actually does give the odd bad one.Music fans will be suprised to see reviews and articles on alternate country; country /folk; artists as well.I have for years had a difficult time getting this mag in Canada and am not suprised to see that Amazon only has it available to USA residents.Someone should be promoting this quality publication .Come on Amazon ,make it available to everyone.
Some Problems for this expensive magazine I have two problems with this magazine. They are sending it to a wrong address and I can't get any service. I want it mailed to my PO Box and not to my business address. Since it is published in England and mailed from the United States no one can find me in the system or take care of this simple matter. It is very expensive and I would expect just a little customer service. I'll suffer.
The second issue is that I'm on a Mac. This magazine should have been titled Computer Music That Is 90% for the PC. Since I use my Mac for all kinds of Photoshop and graphics I just assumed that there would be more programs for the Mac. If you are on a Mac I suggest you factor that into you decision to subscribe or not.

Outstanding Magazine Better Than The Competition I hear everyone say that Mix is a better magazine than Recording and I say nonsense. This mag is a great mag about home recording and the recording industry. After the first issue of Recording Magazine, I cancelled my subscription to Mix. I like the reviews in Recording much better, but what I like the most are the seperate columns each month about each band instrument. Each month a column is written pertaining to bass, guitar, drums, andvocals. These columns give the readers tips and insight on how to improve and get different sounds out of each instrument. I love it.
