Jackson, NJ - Jackson Township, New Jersey is the state’s premier Halloween hot spot each October, attracting tens of thousands of people daily to Six Flags Great Adventure for Fright Fest. One of the highlight attractions at Great Adventure has always been the Dolphin Shows at Fort Independence. This year, Davy Bones and his crew have returned for another Voyage to Voodoo Island.
The show runs nightly during Fright Fest and details the voyages of the bumbling crew as they fall under the spell of the witches’ voodoo and the captain is transformed into a California sea lion. The enchanting bottlenose dolphins perform their feats and in the end, all is returned to normal. The entire show runs about thirty minutes and is a special Halloween themed performance of magical mayhem and hilarious hijinks.
If you want to see the show, show up five to ten minutes prior to the printed start time as Great Adventure has always promptly closed the gates once the show starts for all dolphin shows with no exceptions and you don’t want to tote crying tots who missed the dolphins around the park the rest of the night!
