Great Adventure’s Freak Show

Jackson, NJ -  If you’re looking for a good freak show in Jackson Township, you have many options in 2009.  First, you can head to town hall every other Tuesday night as the 2009 mayoral election race heats up.  This trainwreck has been off the tracks for quite some time, but there’s even more freakish events going on in town.   No, not at the upcoming candidate debates, but you’re sure to see a good freak show there too. 

What I’m talking about is Professor Zombini’s Freak Show, a troupe of sideshow freaks performing amazing feats of oddity straight from Coney Island in the Circus Psycho (boardwalk) section of the theme park during the nightly Fright Fest attraction.

Professor Zombini stars the show with some good old firebreathing that will make the fiery rhetoric of local politicians seem like baby babble.   If you thought you were something in high school for putting that cigarrette out on your tongue, you’re no match for Zombini’s fireeating abilities.

He is followed up by sword swallowing and yes, she did double deep throat 24 inches of hard steel!   No, I didn’t get her number! 

One of my highlights on the night was this poor chap who got his tongue caught in the mouse trap which was the inspiration for the whole Jackson Politics theme.    It would be nice to see some of the vocal locals have to go through this for the lies they spread and the huge amounts of mudsligging going on in town this year.

So if you’re tired of the same old political freak show in Jackson, head on out to Great Adventure to see a not-so-different freak show of a not-so-different nature.
