Infants 6 mths old to children 6+ are taught aquatic self rescue skills. By learning to turn from face down to face up in the water they can save themselves. See www.infantswimnj.com
This program is awesome. My son learned at 3. A few months after his lessons we were down the shore and a wave knocked him down and under. He came up floating! It was so cool.
