Spirit of Math - OPEN HOUSE

happening in Middlesex, New Jersey! Spirit of Math is proud to announce its first US location in Edison New Jersey! We are an after-school math program for high-achieving students that focuses on drills and problem-solving, cooperation and communication. For over 25 years our students have been winning national and international competitions. We have 17 locations in Canada. Classes are 1.5 hours once per week. Students with an average of B+ or higher are considered for acceptance. This is not a tutoring program. Students learn as a class and progress together to complete the course. Working with high-achieving children is not about giving them 'extra' work or even work at a higher grade level. It is about teaching them a new way of thinking - getting them excited about math, giving them the tools they need to discover, discuss and debate solutions, providing them with a challenge and surrounding them children who share the same enthusiasm.
