To the delight of dozens of his younger fans, George Skudera has volunteered to conduct story time at 10 AM, on Tuesday, September 11th, 2007, at The Goddard School, 255 Route 70, in Toms River, NJ. Mr. Skudera is a recently-acclaimed author of children’s books, being recognized for his imaginative series entitled, The Adventures of Freddie, the Little Fire Dragon, featuring his lovable, story-book characters, Freddie and Tanga. The author has a passion to preserve the innocence of youth -- he has created a series of children’s stories that take place in a land absent of crime and violence. His books focus on family values, friendship, caring and sharing with others. Mr. Skudera lives in Farmingdale, NJ, is a lifelong resident of Monmouth County and is a retired manufacturing company executive. Although he is not an author by trade, Skudera has written some things in the past, but never delved into children's fiction before. His books generally target young children through third-grade. Each story is complete in itself -- the entire series does not have to be read for a book to be enjoyed.
