Six Flags Great Adventure and MGM Studios Host FAME National Talent Search August 8 and 9 One Talented Performer Will Get A Chance At FAME During Auditions at Six Flags Great Adventure Think you have what it takes to be a star? Here's your shot! Auditions at Six Flags Great Adventure will be held on Saturday, August 8 from 9:30am - 12:30pm. The FAME National Talent Search at Six Flags is looking for the nation's most talented performers ranging from singers, dancers, actors, you name it. The Fame National Talent Search at Six Flags kicked off at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio on Saturday, July 18. The multi-city, six-week search continued at Six Flags St. Louis and Six Flags Over Texas. Next up, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags Great America (up to 400 will audition). One Finalist or Final Group from each of the 6 participating parks will be selected to compete in front of a panel of celebrity judges in the Finals on Saturday, September 5 at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. One winner or winning group will walk away with a life-changing Grand Prize: • One cash prize of $5,000 • A photo spread in OK! Magazine • 4 night/5 day trip to Los Angeles • A meet-and-greet with a studio executive • A meet-and-greet with a top talent agent • One Johnny Rockets VIP card valued at $1,500 • One $250 Sephora gift card • And your winning performance will live forever on the FAME DVD Show us your talent and enter the FAME National Talent Search! You must be 14 or older to audition. Minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian in order to audition at a participating Six Flags park. Audition date for Six Flags Great Adventure: • Saturday, August 8 • Registration is from 9:30am - 12:30pm Contestants must pay general park admission or be a 2009 Season Pass holder in order to gain entry to the park on audition days. Or, you can mail-in your initial audition to a park by the deadlines in the Official Rules. Up to 10 contestants from Six Flags Great Adventure will be selected and required to compete in the Fame National Talent Search Semi-Finals Show. The Semi-Finals Show will take place on: • Sunday, August 9 at Six Flags Great Adventure at 3:00pm with a special performance by V-Factory with FAME 's Asher Book Those in-park and mail-in entrants invited to compete in The FAME National Talent Search Semi-Finals Show will receive free park admission. Also, the show will be open to all park guests so friends and family are welcome to attend, but family and friends must pay for park admission. One Finalist or Final Group from each of the 6 participating parks (and one MySpace Finalist or Final Group) will be selected to compete in front of a panel of celebrity judges in the Finals on Saturday, September 5 at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. Registration Package: All contestants must submit a completed Contest Registration Package. Packages can be filled out at the park on the audition day or in advance (and brought to the park on the audition day). No Purchase Entry: If you wish to enter via mail to a park, submit a 45 second video and completed Contest Registration Package to the designated address according to the Official Rules. Or, eligible people may also enter the Fame National Talent Search by following the instructions and submitting a video and registration package (if necessary) at the Fame MySpace page, no later than August 3, 2009.
