Little Lost Arts at the Ratsch Theater presents "You Ain't Nothin' But a Werewolf", October 23-25
A Howling Good Musical for the Entire Family!Move over bear population! This weekend, Sussex County is being taken over by a prowling creature of a different sort as Little Lost Arts presents, “You Ain’t Nothin’ But a Werewolf!”, October 23-25, at the historic Ratsch Theater, 6 Broad Street, in Branchville. Written by Tim Kelly, with a swingin’ 1950's rock 'n roll score by Bill Francouer, this musical play is a combination of "Grease," "Teen Wolf" and "Young Frankenstein" all rolled into one. When nerdy Rupert Lydecker gets beat up again by school bully, Chet Lumpcrass, he decides to visit the asylum of Dr. Murdock Dangerfield, a scientist who has written a self-help book about changing your life. What Rupert doesn’t realize is that this mad scientist is…well…mad! With a comical storyline and enough shenanigans to have you “howling” out loud, this show, directed by Sheri Flannery-Verrilli, and featuring a cast of Sussex County teens and adults, is perfect “non-scary” entertainment for children, as well as adults, this Halloween season! Evening performances at 7:30pm are Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24. There is one Sunday matinee on October 25, at 2:00pm. General admission tickets are $10.00 for ages 4-12, and $12.00 for ages 13-adult (no children under four, please).
