Juilliard @ SOPAC
Cello & PianoCaroline Stinson concludes the Juilliard @ SOPAC series with a phenomenal cello and piano duo. The program focuses on French music from the early 1900's, paired with music from later periods that compliment the tone of the late-French romantics, including Debussy and Fauré. A world-renowned cellist, Stinson is known for her expressive and personal interpretation of new works. She is sought after by orchestras and fellow musicians for performances of both traditional and contemporary repertoire, and has appeared at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall, Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, New York's Museum of Modern Art's Summergarden Series and Switzerland's Lucerne Festival, among others. She brings her talent and unique sound to the SOPAC stage, for a promising afternoon sure to open your ears to new and unexpected music.
