Middlesex, NJ (September
26,2008) - Restaurants throughout America Donating Portion of Sales to End Childhood Hunger is
happening in Middlesex, New Jersey! The Blue Rooster Bakery & Café will participate in Share Our Strength's Great American Dine Out®, a week-long fundraising event across the United States aimed at ending childhood hunger. From September 20-26, 2009, the Blue Rooster will donate a portion of its sales to Share our Strength. The Blue Rooster will feature one special menu item each day and for each plate sold, donate 50 percent of its menu price to Share our Strength. In addition, two percent of all other sales from all meals for the entire week will be donated to the organization. "With every lunch plate we serve and every cookie handed to a school child, we are reminded of the good fortunes all around us," said Karen Finigan, co-owner of the Blue Rooster. "We believe, just as our customers do, that there is always more we can do to help those who simply don't have enough to eat." Each year, more than 12 million children in America -- one of every six -- worry about when their next meal will come. LAst year, the first Great American Dine Out raised more than half a million dollars at 4,000 participating restaurants.. This event

Monmouth, NJ (October
03,2009) - “There’s No Place Like Home” for an abandoned shelter orphan is
happening in Monmouth, New Jersey! On October 3rd from 10AM -2PM, the Monmouth County SPCA, along with corporate partner Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, is leashing up for their 16th Annual Dog Walk & Pet Fair on the campus of Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey. Thanks to generous community support, last year’s Walk attracted over 3,000 participants, close to a thousand dogs, and helped us raise over $125,000 for our shelter orphans! Toto, a former street dog turned stage star, will serve as this year’s honorary “Chairdog”, accompanied by award winning theatrical animal trainer Bill Berloni. As canine co-star to R&B’s Ashanti in the soulful rock musical The Wiz, Toto will be available to pose for photos and sign “pawdographs” at the event. Sandy from the Broadway musical Annie will also be in attendance, while Berloni will be on hand to sign copies of his latest book Broadway Tales. All proceeds will go directly to the Monmouth County SPCA. Bill Berloni is widely recognized as one of the world’s most respected theatrical animal trainers, and has been rescuing dogs for Broadway shows for the past thirty years. Music and entertainment will be provided by The Wag, complimented by plenty of vendors and exhibitors, food, demonstrations, contests, activities for kids, photo opportunities and much more. Pets available for adoption will also be featured at the MCSPCA booth. Register early at www.mcspcadogwalk.org for $25, or pay $30 admission at the door. Collect the most pledges for your chance to win incredible prizes. Grab your pooch and help support the Monmouth County SPCA! S. Jersey's Largest Kids Consignment Event - October 2-4 2009
Burlington, NJ (October
02,2009) - Best Dressed for Less Fall/Winter Sale is
happening in Burlington, New Jersey! The BEST way to buy and sell gently used name brand children's clothing and more! Best Dressed for Less is a semi-annual consignment event selling gently used name brand children’s clothing, shoes, books, toys, equipment, furniture, and more. We have almost everything you could need for your children at a small fraction of the price you would pay in a retail store. Our merchandise is screened carefully. Worn, damaged or stained items are removed from the sale and returned to the consignor. Our prices are great! Because Best Dressed for Less is NOT a consignment store, we have very low overhead costs. Therefore, we are able to offer our consignors a very high percentage of their total sales – and they can charge you really LOW prices for their items. Best Dressed for Less brings together buyers and consignors in one location two times each year (Spring and Fall), for several days only. As a result, we have a large selection of seasonal items in one place, at one time. Our computerized bar coding system enables parents to quickly and conveniently sell the children’s things they longer use to someone who needs them! (and at a profit!) PARENTS: If you are looking for amazing deals on gently used children’s items, our sale is the place for you! No more hot summer weekends spent searching garage sales, no more long hours spent on line at ebay. You will never need to shop at overpriced department stores again. We have organized everything in one location, just like a retail store – but without the high prices. Prepare yourself for 3 days of bargain shopping like you have never seen before. CONSIGNORS: Do you have bins of expensive (but outgrown) name brand children’s clothing in your basement? Do you have kids’ items in every corner of your home? Would you love to clear these items out AND recoup a decent portion of your original investment? To register as a consignor or join the mailing list go to www.bestdressedsale.com. This event
will take place in Burlington County on October
02,2009 at Burlington Center Mall 2501 Burlington Mt Holly Rd Burlington Township NJ.
