Clean Ocean Action's 2009 Family Beach Ball
Monmouth, NJ (May
17,2009) - Join us for Clean Ocean Action's Family Beach Ball celebrating 25 years of Ocean Advocacy is
happening in Monmouth, New Jersey! Clean Ocean Action invites the entire family to have a ball for the ocean on May 17, 2009 from 3-7pm. This groovy party will be a celebration for COA’s dedicated 25 years of ocean advocacy and proceeds will benefit COA’s continued devotion and protection of our beautiful beaches. Adults can enjoy our beachy fare and tiki bar while jammin to live reggae music and acoustic surf rock. Or they could bid on an exciting auction featuring vacation getaways, Mediterranean-style grape stomp, beach cruiser bicycle, and more. Meanwhile, the kids can enjoy “green” crafts, face painting, sand sculpting, and learning about ways to save the ocean. Don’t forget your beachy attire and this event is B.Y.O.B.C. (Bring Your Own Blanket or Chair). Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for children under the age of 12. This event is rain or shine. So come kick-off the beach season at Clean Ocean Action’s 2009 Beach Ball. We can’t wait to “sea” you there!. This event

What to do Easter Weekend in New Jersey
Atlantic, NJ (April
12,2009) - A list of events for Easter Weekend is
happening in Atlantic, New Jersey! 
GoKidsNJ- For the weekend of April 10,11 & 12, 2009, this is Easter Weekend! All across the state you can find Easter themed activities.
On Friday, Half-Priced Ticket Sales continue on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights. Last weekend was Seaside’s annual spring Easter Egg Hunt and was a huge success for the community as thousands of area residents descended on the boardwalk. The Casino Pier has limited rides open after 12pm all weekend.
Saturday morning April 11th, you can go on a Bunny Chase at Terhune Orchards in Princeton or have Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at The Brownstone Puppet Theatre in historic Smithville. After breakfast the children can stroll through the Village where there is always the Train ride, the Carousel and paddle boats.
Also on Saturday you can find many Easter Egg Hunts and Easter Festivities all around the state. Here’s a brief listing:
Finally, on Saturday, three is the Woofin Paws Pet Fashion Show on the boardwalk in Ocean City. Dress your pets in their Easter’s best!
Sunday, April 12th is Easter. Wildwood will be holding their annual Opening Day Celebration on the boardwalking, signaling the unofficial start of the 2009 tourism season.
Ocean City and Seasides Heights will be hosting their annual fashion shows on the boardwalk.

Playing With Fire Glass Art - Yvonne Yaar- Solo Exhibit
Ocean, NJ (June
07,2008) - is
happening in Ocean, New Jersey! Yvonne Yaar has always loved art since she was a young girl, and is especially interested in the medium of glass- intrigued by its transparency, color and light-reflecting qualities. She creates both glass jewelry and wall art/ sculpture. Each work is made in front of a torch, with a kiln, or with various tools used to manipulate molten glass. Yvonne feels her art reflects life and incorporates themes of motherhood, love of nature, humor, politics and addiction. Yvonne exhibits and sells her art in multiple locations in the Tri State area [NJ, NY & PA] and frequently teaches at the LBI Foundation of the Arts & Sciences. Her work has recently been commissioned by a NJ hospital. She is the President and Founder of a local art co-operative, TRACx81.. This event

Corvette Show
Cape May, NJ (September
27,2009) - Corvette Show is
happening in Cape May, New Jersey! Over 300 cars exhibited. One of the largest shows of its kind in the East. Models from every year Corvettes were manuafactured comprise this colorful show. Displayed on the Boardwalk from 6th - 10th Sts. 11:30 am - 4 pm.
